CHRYSLER LHX
The Chrysler LHX concept car explores the future design direction of cab-forward architecture for the next
generation of Chrysler full-size luxury cars. The interior
space has been expanded by placing the wheels further to the corners, stretching the cab. The LHX has an
aggressive raked profile that is combined with an interior
that uses graceful, simple forms and a sophisticated use of materials.
The centrally located instrument cluster keeps drivers' eyes focused ahead and in view of essential warning
lights and speed controls. A closed-circuit television
system within the windshield pillars replaces conventional rear view mirrors on the LHX. An expanded
124-inch wheelbase allows for rear passenger supplement
restraints and a rear occupant entertainment center and storage compartment.
