Motorsports Brands - Ferrari Drivers Fuel Formula One Fans With Free Coffee

MELBOURNE, March, 15, 2012: The Shell V-Power Caffè Veloce has been specially blended by the Ferrari superstars to give their fans a caffeine boost during the Formula One weekend, the secret ingredients being a mix of 100 percent Arabica roasted espresso beans and rich Italian hot chocolate.

The four ounce Shell V-Power Caffè Veloce will be available for free from Brunetti in Carlton, City Square and Myer on Thursday March 15 between 12pm-1pm, Friday March 16 between 8am-9am and Saturday March 17 and Sunday March 18 between 1pm-2pm.

The advances made together with Ferrari have enabled Shell to develop a world-class road fuel, Shell V-Power.

The road fuel is 99 percent the same types of compounds found in the Shell V-Power race fuel being used by Ferrari in the 2012 Formula One World Championship.

Shell V-Power is designed to improve performance and responsiveness by cleaning power-stealing deposits from the valves and injection system inside your engine.

It also actively reduces friction by introducing a surface coating component to protect critical engine parts and unlock valuable energy.

This technology has powered Ferrari to 10 FIA Formula One World Championship Constructors? and 12 Drivers? titles alongside Shell.

"The technology we used to develop Shell V-Power for the road comes directly from the work we are doing in Formula One, but that?s not the end of the process - far from it," Cara Tredget, Shell Formula One Technology Manager, said.

"In Formula One you are always pushing for that little bit of extra performance and that?s a philosophy Shell also applies to our road-going products."
