National Corvette Museum Announces Opening of Speed Captured: The Photographic Works of Richard Prince
BOWLING GREEN, KY, March 7, 2025 – The National Corvette Museum proudly announces the opening of Speed Captured: The Photographic Works of Richard Prince, a special exhibition celebrating the artistry of one of motorsport’s most iconic photographers. The exhibition opens March 7, 2025, in the Museum’s Limited Engagement Gallery and will run through the end of the year.
Richard Prince, renowned for his ability to capture the raw power and emotion of motorsports, has spent more than 30 years documenting the evolution of the Corvette and its historic role in racing. A 2024 Corvette Hall of Fame inductee known for his striking compositions, Prince’s photography vividly tells the stories of speed, innovation, and the passion of the people behind America’s Sports Car.
“This exhibition allows me to share not only the cars themselves but also the emotion and energy they evoke,” said Richard Prince. “Through photography, I’ve aimed to capture the soul of the Corvette—its beauty, ferocity, and ability to inspire. I’m thrilled to see this work brought to life at the National Corvette Museum, alongside some of the most significant cars I’ve had the honor to photograph.”
