Bud Pole Qualifying for the 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway determined the race's top 2 starting positions. Jeff Gordon will start on the pole with Tony Stewart beside him on the outside of row one. The remainder of the starting grid will be set by next Thursday's Gatorade Twin 125s
