Washington Apples returns as sponsor
THOMASVILLE, NC - Bryant - Granelli Motorsports has announced that primary sponsor Washington Apples has agreed to return for the 2000 NASCAR Dash Series season. A Washington Apple spokesperson indicated they were looking forward to working with Ricky and the B/G Motorsports team during the 2000 season with the hopes that the team can pick up where it left off last season, and challenge for the championship! Last season Bryant and his team notched their 2nd straight 3rd place finish in the point standings while capturing 3 wins and 11 top ten finishes in 16 races. Bryant stated " We are thrilled to have the Washington Apple Commission back full time as our sponsor in 2000. They are a fine group of people, we have enjoyed our association tremendously. We are going to do our best to win some additional races and challenge for a championship this season for Washington Apples and all our very supportive sponsors!. We also plan on doing a lot more appearances and promotions for Washington Apples to assist in their overall marketing programs. I hope we have Washington Apples as our sponsor for many years to come, they have been great!."
The B/G Motorsports team is looking to compete this final year in the Dash Series while preparing for their next step in motorsports. Plans are currently being developed to have Bryant and the race team compete in a limited race schedule in the ASA AC Delco Series in 2000 as well. No sponsors or race dates have been announced yet.

The 200 mile Dash race will take place on Saturday afternoon Feb. 12th at 3 PM, right after the Winston Cup cars take their qualifying runs for the Daytona 500. The Dash race will be seen on ESPN2 at 8 PM that evening. Ricky Bryant and the Washington Apple car will have an in-car camera for the Daytona race.
