2002 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder
![]() Micro changes for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder in the 2002 edition: some new colors, and some new lights for mirrors and glove box. That's OK, it was a great little beast last year too. We just have a lot of fun with the throaty 3.0-liter V6 engine ( 200 horsepower ). That, coupled with the "geo-mechanical" side ridges and arching fenders get approving nods from folks all over town. ![]() We tested the convertible which is a snap to use... literally. You unsnap two latches and press a button. The top with its glass window hide away and away you go. The rear seat works for kids, pets, or stuff. But not adults. The Infinity sound system is a good match, top up or down. All in all, we are impressed with the Spyder and recommend a test drive if you're shopping for sporty rag-tops. ![]() - Editor |
